Sanbanggulsa Temple

Perched halfway up the cliffs of Sanbangsan Mountain, Sanbanggulsa is a historic temple designated as one of the ten scenic views of Jeju Island. The adjacent Sanbangsan is a 395-meter-high volcanic plug lacking a summit crater, and its cliffside vegetation is designated as Natural Monument No. 386, serving as a natural sanctuary for native species such as stonecrops and wind orchids.
