Jeongui-hyeonseong Fortress

Located in Seongeup-ri, Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo-si, this Joseon-era fortress surrounds the historic Seongeup Folk Village, a designated Important Folklore Cultural Material. While it was originally located in Goseong-ri, Seongsan-eup, it was later relocated to its current site. In 2004, academic surveys confirmed the original site's dimensions and the remaining traces of its ancient walls.
