Gobegi Dongsan
Located in Gwangpyeong-ri, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, Gobegi Dongsan is a forest created to express gratitude to nature for providing a place to live when the village of Gwangpyeong-ri—which had vanished during the Jeju April 3 Incident—was rebuilt in 1955. Historically, it was known as "Gobegi Dongsan" because it is said that a person named 'Gobek' once lived there. The forest is equipped with benches and hammock nets, offering perfect spots for relaxation. It is an ideal place to spend quiet moments listening to the rustling leaves and chirping birds in the tranquil solitude of the woods.
