Hallim Port

Located on the western coast of Jeju, Hallim Port is a coastal harbor with a history dating back to the Japanese colonial period, when it served as a fishing base. Today, it plays a vital role in the transport of cargo such as cement and tangerines, and serves as a central hub for the supply of yellow croaker caught near Chuja Island. A unique sight to behold is the bustling scene of fishermen gathering for 'jogiteori' (the traditional process of cleaning yellow croaker) when the catch arrives. Additionally, Hallim Port serves as a key transportation hub where travelers can catch ferries bound for Biyangdo Island.
