Nuwemaru Street (formerly Baozen)
Located in Yeon-dong, Jeju City, Nuwemaru Street (formerly Baozen) is a vibrant pedestrian-only street. Formerly known as the "Old Jeju Rodeo Street" or "Baozen Street," its name was changed to Nuwemaru Street in 2017 through a naming contest, inspired by the shape of a silkworm cocoon representing the new center of Jeju. Today, it serves as a bustling commercial hub and a popular destination for many travelers.
