Baeryeong Signaling Site

Designated as Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Monument No. 23-19, the Baeryeong Signaling Site served as a beacon station under the jurisdiction of Myeongwoljin during the Joseon Dynasty. Unlike typical square structures, the Baeryeong Signaling Site is uniquely characterized by its circular plan. The structure remains with a base diameter of 4.9m, an upper diameter of 1.6m, and a height of 1.9m, featuring an earthen hearth atop the structure.
