Suwolbong Peak
Suwolbong Peak is a tuff ring formed by hydrovolcanic activity at an elevation of 77–78 meters. Designated as Natural Monument No. 513, it is a centerpiece of the Jeju Island UNESCO Global Geopark. From the Gosan Meteorological Observatory and Suwoljeong Pavilion located at the summit, visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Chagwido Island, Dangsanbong Peak, and the "Eongal" coastal cliffs that stretch 2 kilometers to the east. Suwolbong Peak is especially renowned for its stunning sunsets viewed from the western edge, where visitors can witness a unique fusion of natural geological wonders and historical remnants, such as the mine tunnels built in the 1940s.
