Baekje Temple

Baekje Temple is a temple of the Taego Order of Korean Buddhism, honoring the lineage of the Great Master Bogu of the Silla Dynasty. It carries a profound spiritual legacy that has preserved an authentic Buddhist lineage for over 1,700 years. Visitors can experience the Buddhist philosophy of reverence for all life and a temple culture that exists in perfect harmony with nature. Since 2012, Baekje Temple has also served as a center for growth, hosting youth alternative classrooms and mentoring programs commissioned by the Jeju Provincial Office of Education.
