A shot of vitamin C: Jeju Island’s citrus cafes

During the winter season, Jeju is overflowing with a variety of delicious and healthy citrus crops. About 99% of Korea’s mandarin yield comes from Jeju. From the end of October, its orchards burst with bright orange fruit which hang heavy on the branches of the trees. The nutritional benefits of its citrus crop are well known. Among other things, its alkaline properties promote calcium absorption and the vitamin C boost helps you recover from fatigue and makes your skin healthier.
