Orimban

Orimban is a historical site believed to have served as a training ground for early armed groups during the Jeju April 3 Incident. The site features a natural fortress topography, characterized by a wide basin nestled within a dense forest, a valley to the north, and surrounding mountain ridges including Dongsuak, Iseungak, and Nongoak. To reach Orimban, travel approximately 4km along the First Transverse Road from Seongpanak Rest Area, pass the shiitake mushroom cultivation area, and continue 200m east along the forest path to discover a naturally formed meadow plaza.
