The Jeju dialect term 'Nonggae' refers to a place where cast nets were once thrown to catch fish, and historically, it has been a rich fishing ground where plenty of sea bream arrived. Located along the coastline of the Jeju Olle Route 3-B, Farmer offers a relaxing retreat with towering palm trees and comfortable benches, making it an ideal spot for fishing or a quick dip in the ocean. Thanks to the abundant supply of 'Sanmul'—fresh groundwater from subterranean springs—the area is often called a natural freshwater pool, creating a unique and stunning landscape where fresh spring water meets the sea.
