Mongsaengi

Run by master artisan Yang Sun-ja, Mongsaengi is a social enterprise specializing in the production of traditional Jeju clothing known as *gal-ot*, which is naturally dyed using unripe persimmons. By preserving the authentic characteristics of *gal-ot*—such as its excellent breathability and easy maintenance—Mongsaengi creates original pieces that capture the nostalgic memories and warm, rustic lifestyle of Jeju.
