Beophwan Haenyeo Experience Center

Located in the charming village of Beophwan in Seogwipo, the Beophwan Haenyeo Experience Center is operated by the Beophwan Fishing Village, the southernmost coastal community in Korea. Here, you can learn directly from about 20 local Haenyeo (female divers) who lead the educational programs and hands-on experiences. The center is open annually from June to the end of October, and the experience fee is 30,000 KRW, which includes equipment rental.
