2025 Environmental Hanmadang Festival

Celebrating World Environment Day, the 2025 Environmental Hanmadang Festival will take place from June 4th to 5th, 2025, at the outdoor plaza of the Jeju International Convention Center in Seogwipo. Jointly hosted by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), this event centers on the theme of 'Ending Plastic Pollution.' It will feature a diverse range of programs designed to raise awareness about plastic issues and promote the transition toward a sustainable, circular resource society.
