2026 Jeju Handicraft Playground

Hosted by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province World Heritage Headquarters, the 2026 Jeju Handicraft Playground offers a unique hands-on experience alongside masters of Jeju's National Intangible Cultural Heritage, including specialists in Gat-il (traditional hat making), Manggeon-jang (traditional hairband making), and Tanggeon-jang (traditional headwear making). Participants will have the opportunity to craft their own traditional lifestyle items using malchong (horsehair) while learning authentic Jeju traditional techniques.
