Gase Oreum Volcanic Cone

Located in Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Gase Oreum Volcanic Cone is a horseshoe-shaped oreum featuring a split summit. Its name is derived from the Jeju dialect word "gase," meaning scissors, due to its distinctive shape. The cone consists of five volcanic debris peaks: Yeomtong Oreum, Jogeun Yeomtong, Dal Moru, Jindongsan, and Sumgolwat. As the terrain is often obscured by dense shrubbery, there are no formal hiking trails.
