Seongeup Village
Located in Seongup-ri, Pyoseon-myeon, Seongeup Village preserves the authentic atmosphere of an ancient Jeju village. Unlike many other folk villages, Seongeup Village is a living community where residents still reside today. Once the capital of Jeongui-hyeon during the Joseon Dynasty, the village sits nestled at the foot of Hallasan Mountain, collectively preserving the unique architectural characteristics of traditional Jeju houses and a wealth of cultural heritage.
