Soam Memorial Hall

Opened on October 4, 2008, Soam Memorial Hall is a dedicated space designed to honor the life and artistic legacy of Soam Hyun Jung-hwa, a master of 20th-century Korean calligraphy. The hall features permanent and special exhibition rooms, as well as Jobeomsanbang—the master's former residence, which houses the Soam Biography Room and his creative studio. Visitors can immerse themselves in his profound works and trace his life story through the exhibits. Additionally, the hall serves as a welcoming cool retreat for travelers seeking respite from the heat.
